Two Stage Support

All pediatricians recommend that infants sleep on a firm surface to reduce the risk of SIDS until the age of 12 months. Toddlers over the age of 12 months don’t need as firm a sleep surface once the risk of SIDS is over.

All our mattresses have a side designed specifically for toddlers that is more comfortable. This is a great feature if parents plan on using a toddler or transitional bed.

Firmness

All pediatricians recommend that babies sleep on their back on a FIRM mattress.

However, mattresses can be too firm causing what’s known as “flat head” from baby spending so much time on his/her back. The incidence of this syndrome has jumped six times during the past decade as many mattresses were simply too hard!

Jupiter’s mattresses have different degrees of firmness but even the basic mattress provides just the right firmness for your baby.

Plus the fibers in our cores are compression packed and bonded with heat (no glues) for a sleep surface that’s not only firm but also uniform without the many pressure points found in traditional spring filled mattresses.

Breathability

Millions of tiny air chambers between fibers maximize breathability and allow air to flow freely in baby’s sleep environment. This helps prevent overheating, a hazard linked to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and keeps baby’s sleep environment fresh.

Airflow Borders

Micro-channel mesh knit borders create a natural airflow to help keep the interior of baby’s mattress fresh and dry. Combined with our breathable polyfiber cores and fabrics you won’t find a more breathable mattress anywhere!
